A new 175,000 square foot Children’s Hospital connected to the existing Sacred Heart Hospital Complex. This facility contains the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Northwest Florida. To serve the Northwest Florida area, this facility contains 75 neonatal intensive care rooms, Emergency and ED department, pediatric oncology rooms, extended care patient rooms, and support services for all of the clinical departments and patient families. Great emphasis was placed on patient centered care, including an ocean theme throughout the entire hospital.
